Single-member LLCs, also known as a checkbook IRA, are a unique investing tool that investors utilize in order to facilitate the purchase of alternative investments. Having “checkbook control,” means the IRA owner, acting as manager of the LLC, is able to write checks directly out of the IRA to purchase investments. By using a single-member LLC, an investor can act more quickly to complete transactions and can also potentially save administrative costs incurred by the IRA.

During this webinar, we will explore how some individuals have used LLCs and trusts to hold real estate within the IRA. There are many ins and outs when you hold real estate in an LLC or trust, and this seminar will go over all the frequently asked questions on this topic. Participants will be able to ask questions of the presenter during the webinar.
